Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has said his side's hunger and desire is as strong as ever to win the Premier League title again.
The defending champions will start the new campaign as third favourites behind Chelsea and Manchester City to win another title.
According to the Daily Star, the exit of Sir Alex Ferguson and the failure to sign new players have raised doubts about United's chances of continuing to dominate English football.
In spite of all the challenges, Vidic said that the team would rise to the challenge once again.
He said that the team was trying to train hard. The players have trained well, they want to win trophies and are still hungry to win
He added that the team still can show that it can compete for the big trophies again, the Champions League and Premier League.
He said that the team does not like to fight for place in the media, but like to fight on the pitch.
Vidic added that the team was just focused on winning the title and were not bothered about what people say.
