Experts have reportedly called for pitchside medical kits to be available at every football ground in the world to help save lives in view of the incident involving retired footballer Fabrice Muamba.
According to Metro.co.uk, Muamba's heart stopped on the pitch during a match at Tottenham Hotspur although he managed to survive.
The experts also said that the FIFA Medical Emergency Bag (FMEB) is the proposed medical equipment standard to be provided at every football field and to be used when medical emergencies arise.
Sources said that the FIFA emergency medical bag would have vital equipment necessary during such emergencies.
