Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala is likely to submit his resignation to President Ram Baran Yadav on Friday to pave way for the election of a new Prime Minister of the country.
Meanwhile, Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli, chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist), tipped to become the next Prime Minister of the Himalayan nation.
Koirala, a Nepali Congress leader, was elected as the Prime Minister of Nepal on February 10, 2014.
President Yadav on September 20 had announced the adoption of a new 'secular and democratic' Constitution, which marked Nepal's transformation from a Hindu monarchy to a secular democracy.
