Kathmandu [Nepal], May 17 (ANI): The Sanskrit department of Nepal's first and oldest Tribhuwan University has felicitated Swami Nischalananda Saraswati in a function on Wednesday.

Swami Saraswati who is on his religious run in Nepal was felicitated as he prepared to leave the Himalayan nation and fly back to India on Thursday.

One of the participants, Gyan Chandra Adhikari told ANI "Swamiji enlightened us with the speeches about life and its importance. In order to make our life meaningful all the things relating to religion, physical things which science is able to witness, science itself tends to witness and show others but it is all possible because of the god's will. The physical things, beings, and substances, all these are the boon of the god and to make our life more significant we should always be with the god and follow them."

Nischalananda Saraswati is accorded as 145th Swami in a row. He came on a visit to Nepal last week.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli along with an Indian envoy paid a visit to him during his stay in Nepal.

Tara Prasad Awasthi, a lecturer at the Tribhuwan University told ANI,"Sankaracharya himself is the enlightenment, ocean of knowledge. He is the 145th light of knowledge. We should perceive the knowledge as per our capacity and this also helps in improving the relations between India and Nepal.
