Netflix acquires rights for Brad Pitt's 'War Machine'

Netflix will be bringing its first original feature with the Brad Pitt starrer 'War Machine.'

The film, which is based on the non-fiction novel 'The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America's War in Afghanistan,' will see the 51-year-old actor fill the shoes of a US general in control of American forces in Afghanistan, reports the Verge.

The movie will be satirical comedy, and will begin filming in August.
