Mark Hamill admitted that he was "astonished" and couldn't believe that he was back on the set for 'Star Wars'.
The 62-year-old actor, who'll be reprising his role of Luke Skywalker in the upcoming 'Star Wars Episode 7' told BBC News that it was very unexpected since they already had a beginning, a middle and an end, the Mirror reported.
Hamill also praised director Luke Skywalker and scribe Lawrence Kasdan saying that they had really managed to keep the "spirit of that whole 'Star Wars' universe" in the film, which is anticipated to hit theatres by the end of 2015.
