Naidu said, "We have to constantly project ourselves for the future generation so that they understand and follow the same."
The north-eastern states also showcased their traditional art and designs, rich cuisines and culture during the event. The festival gave an opportunity to the people of Northeast to witness and celebrate the festival of oneness in the national capital.
A Nagaland vendor said, "We have special cuisine like bamboo shoot pickle and Naga King Chilli plus we have pork gravy with the bamboo shoot in our menu. Bamboo shoot is the most sought item in our restaurant. If you want, come to our restaurant, we have live band in the restaurant based in Green Park, New Delhi. People are aware of our restaurant 'Nagaland's Kitchen' and Saturday nights we have the live bands."
A visitor from the Northeast said, "It doesn't matter which caste we belong to and which state we are from, when we see our tricolour flag it fills us with pride. I hope all Indians feel this pride and energy."
