Australia's nine Tests without a victory is one of the worst sequences in this country's history and so George Bailey has joked that he's a pretty popular bloke in the dressing room at the moment, with his luck along his debut.
According to News.com.au, Bailey played in a resounding win on debut after many of his teammates spent almost all year without success.
He said that the win was pretty surreal and was a fantastic result considering how the guys worked hard for so many months without a Test win.
He added that to see the happiness and to be part of that was pretty special.
However, Bailey said that it would have been nice to get a couple more runs in the first innings, adding that he could be like a racehorse, better for the run.
