New York has always been hyper-connected, where people check their email in the shower, but now some people are giving up on using their cell phones to go back to their landlines.
According to United States Telecom Association, about 45 percent of Americans have cut the cord on landlines, but some people, including many celebrities, have revealed that they are staying connected only at home, the New York Daily News reported.
Sarah Jessica Parker famously shunned cell phones, while Vince Vaughn admitted that he only recently began taking his conversations on the road and 'Divergent' star Shailene Woodley has recently confessed that she doesn't own a cell phone.
