The market on Wednesday opened lower again following weak Asian cues. The Sensex fell 23.13 points trading at 25287.20 and the Nifty declined 5 points trading at 7696.70.

BHEL, ITC, HUL, Tata Steel, Sun Pharma, Asian Paints, Tata Motors and Cipla were among the early gainers while Dr Reddys Lab fell 3.5 percent.

GAIL, Vedanta, Bharti Airtel, Hindalco and UltraTech Cement traded in red.

The Indian rupee has opened flat at 66.83 per dollar today against previous close of 66.84.

Experts believe that USD-INR pair closed at 66.84/dollar taking cues from the equity market and also dollar strengthening against emerging market currencies, which is expected to move today with a weakening bias and trade between 66.95-66.80/dollar.
