Nina Arianda is set to star with Meryl Streep in upcoming project 'Florence Foster Jenkins.'
The 30-year-old actress, who had won a Tony Award for her lead role in 'Venus In Fur,' will be seem opposite Streep and Hugh Grant in Stephen Frears' directed film, Deadline.com reported.
The movie, which is being fianced by Pathe, will highlight the true story of Jenkins, played by Streep, who used her wealth and high-society connections at the turn of the 20th century to gain traction as a singer. The truth was she couldn't actually sing. Grant will portray her butler and best friend.
Arianda will take the role of a sexy showgirl, Agnes Stark, who is trying to work her way into the social stratosphere with the help of her husband. Though Stark fist laughs off at Florence's singing, she ends up becoming one of her biggest supporters.
