Nitish insecure about PM Modi's development initiatives: M.J Akbar

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader M.J Akbar on Saturday said Bihar's Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, is scared of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's development-oriented initiatives.

"The question Nitish Kumar is raising shows his insecurity. The people who are doing politics of Jungle raj, have become scared of Modi Ji's development way," Akbar told while reacting to the Bihar Chief Minister's remark in the recent interview with ANI, that when good days will come.

He further added that Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav will not be able to form stable government in Bihar.

"Nitish ji and Lalu ji know that they won't be able to provide stable government to Bihar. And without stable government development is not possible. For Nitish ji, Lalu ji is Brand snake and for Lalu ji, Nitish ji is poison," he added .

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Bihar to kick-start his party's poll campaign, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday launched an attack on him, posing seven questions to him on retrieval of black money, farmers' issues and the promises he had made to the state during Lok Sabha polls.

Kumar also alleged that only a few capitalists had benefited from the central government and asked when 'acche din' would come for the common man.

The Prime Minister will participate in several programmes in Patna today and reportedly address a 'Parivartan' rally at Muzaffarpur.

He will also inaugurate the ambitious 'Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gramjyoti Yojana.
