Defence expert Lieutenant General (retired) Raj Kadyan on Tuesday said there is no doubt that the Gurdaspur terror attack originated in Pakistan, adding that the neighbouring country has been indulging in such attacks for a long time.
"There was no doubt that the attack has originated from Pakistan. The kind of weapons they carried, the kind of tactics they followed, suicide tactics that only very highly motivated jihadis can follow. So it was clear from yesterday, the proof has come in the form of a GPS system, three of them were being carried by them," Kadyan told ANI.
"This is not the first time that the attacks have originated from the Pakistani soil, Pakistan has been indulging in this pattern for a long time," he added.
The Ministry of Home Affairs had earlier said that the terrorists involved in the Gurdaspur terror attack, which has claimed the lives of several civilians and police personnel, are linked to terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba.
