Noida: Man shoots business partner's family, tries to kill self

A woman and her son were killed when a person opened indiscriminate firing at his business partner's residence in Noida sector 39 last night.

The husband and servant have sustained injuries.

As per the police, Rajesh Jolly, resident of Delhi's Mayur Vihar area, reached the home of his business partner Ajay Khurana at around 10.30 p.m.

Ajay, his wife Anshu and son Ankush were having their dinner when Jolly barged into their house.

"When the servant opened the door on hearing the bell, the person attacked him with a sharp weapon. Then he went inside and started firing," Senior Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh Yadav told the media here.

The neighbours rushed all the four to the Kailash Hospital here. However, Anshu and Ankush succumbed to their injuries.

The police also said that the accused also tried to shot himself but the police overpowered him. He is also admitted in the Kailash Hospital and is critical.

The police have also recovered two pistols and around 40 cartridges from the accused.

The Forensic team was also sent to the spot.

According to the police, Ajay and Rajesh were family friends and had been business partners since long. However, the motive of the incident is still unknown.
