North India reels under severe cold wave

An intense cold wave continues to grip north India with several regions facing extremely low temperatures.
Dense fog engulfed the plains of Northern region, affecting air and rail traffic while the plains of the Kashmir valley are experiencing seasons' first snowfall.
In Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, moderate rain is reported from many places.
In Delhi, it is expected to have partly cloudy sky with maximum temperature 18 degree celsius and minimum 11 degree celsius.
