German and Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski desperately wants his club to qualify for the Champions League next season, adding that not doing so would be disastrous for both Arsenal and him.

While acknowledging that winning the FA Cup to end a nine-year trophy drought would be a huge lift for the club, Podolski also felt that finishing in the top four in the English Premier League must be the Gunners' priority.

Arsenal meet West Ham on Tuesday night, having been edged out of the top four by Everton over the weekend, The Mirror reports.
