Beyonce Knowles' album release strategy is being studied at the Harvard Business School.
The 'Single Ladies' star's self-titled fifth studio album was released in 2013, without any warning or promotion and was an instant success, selling 80,000 copies in three hours. Now, a professor and a former student at Harvard have put together a 27-page study on the project, Us magazine reported.
They have named the report simply 'Beyonce', and the findings, will be taught in Anita Elberse's "Strategic Marketing in Creative Industries" course, who is a professor of Business Administration at the school.
In the process, the two scholars unearthed some secrets and details about the superstar on her journey.
The little of it that appeared on Billboard and unveiled information on the making of the album and Beyonce's passionate participation in making of all her shows and videos.
