The Ford Motor Company's new e-bike MoDe
The Ford's MoDe: Pro took the limelight at Mobile World Congress as if it is paired with a heart-rate sensor, the motor can be configured to kick in when your heart rate reaches a certain level and will provide little help when it detects that the rider is getting tired, Fox News reported.
MoDe: Pro's 200w motor enables to notch up 15 miles per hour, and the 9 Ah battery allows it to be used for an hour and a half on continuous basis.
The Ford's new commercial multi-modal transport system can also be paired with the voice-activated app to check the charge on the bike, access bike tracking, route-planning, and delivery scheduling.
In addition to unique features, it's handlebars acts good for navigation as if one need to turn right, then the right handlebar vibrates, with the turn signals that are present on the end of each handlebar, and if a vehicle is close behind then both handlebars will vibrate to alert and acts like a proximity sensor.
The bike can easily be folded up and docked in the van, automatically charges the battery, and modular boxes on the tail-rack offer ample storage space, and with it's easy mobility it'll appeal to delivery services, tradesmen, couriers, and even municipal services like the police.
This innovative e-bike consisting of two tone horns, out of which one is gentle for pedestrians, and another is louder for traffic, is currently on a stand-by mode as it the company looks out for the customer feedback, which the company will use to further shape the final e-bike.
