One of the owners of Championship team Reading is reportedly reportedly considering selling the football club for just one pound.
Team owner and Russian billionaire Anton Zingarevich has expressed desire to sell 51 percent of his share after the team failed to attain triumph in the promotion to the Premier League last season.
According to Metro, the businessman has reportedly paid over 25 million pounds for his share of the club, but he will now accept just one pound to hand over the reins to somebody else.
The report also mentioned that Reading is debt-ridden with about 38 million pounds, of which a tax bill of 3.2 million pounds needs to be paid off immediately by the buyer.
