NYC's new World Trade Center becomes world's most expensive skyscraper

An international provider of building data has found that One World Trade Center in New York City is the world's expensive skyscraper, costing 3.9 billion dollars.
The list compiled by Emporis finds The Palazzo, the extravagant luxury hotel in Las Vegas, along with London's The Shard, each of which cost 1.9 billion dollars as the second most expensive skyscraper.
Taipei 101 in Taiwan came in third, costing 1.76-billion-dollars, followed by Burj Khalifa, Dubai and Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort, China (1.5 billion dollars), while Singapore's CapitaGreen (1.4 billion dollars) came in fifth.
