After a historic win against West Indies in Bridgetown, New Zealand bowlers are marching ahead on The Reliance ICC Rankings.

With two players in the top ten, New Zealand bowlers have gained a significant number on the chart. Trent Boult, Mark Craig, and Tim Southee, all taking three wickets each in the second innings have risen up on the chart.

Fast bowler Trent Boult, able to swing the bowl both ways, has broken into the top ten on the rankings table. He has climbed two spots to stand at the ninth position after returning match figures of two for 71 and three for 28. He becomes the second New Zealander in the top ten, joining Tim Southee who retains his sixth rank.

Neil Wagner has also jumped six spots to near the top 20 positions, standing at 22nd position in the Reliance ICC Player Ranking.

Meanwhile, Mark Craig, taking four wickets for 174 runs, jumps seven spots up to claim 71st position in the ranking chart. He has proved that he can be a replacement for Daniel Vettori and Jeetan Patel.
