Parineeti Chopra has landed in a Twitter mess and is accused of being a body shammer due to a birthday wish she left for her friend.
The 26-year-old, wishing birthday to her friend, wrote, "Eat less please, become thin."
The comment, however, didn't go down with the twitteratis as the people started lashing out at her shortly after the comment, reports the Dawn.
What seemed to be a joke to a friend has now brought the 'Ishaqzaade' actress under fire.
"Parineeti has become a body shamer. A thin body has seemingly become an obsession for her. She should see a psych," read a slamming comment.
Another tweeted, "Parineeti chopra used to be acclaimed for changing the view on women's body image in india but she turned out to be a fake."
"Parineeti has become so obnoxious, it's obvious she's obsessed with body image. Cancelled," wrote another one.
