Odisha Law Minister Maheshwar Mohanty has been hospitalized after being shot by unknown assailants in his hometown Puri.
Two bullets were fired at Mohanty, one of which struck his shoulder, while the second hit his arm.
The minister was rushed to the district headquarter hospital, and then, shifted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
He was driving a scooter back home from a function when he was attacked.
