One dead in dispute over switching off lights

In a shocking fit of rage, a man was killed following a quarrel over switching off the decoration lights at a wedding here on Monday.

The victim, identified as Mohammed Anjum Wadari was killed and two others were fatally injured following the tussle.

According to the police, Wadari and the two others were attacked by two men with tiles, beer bottles and cricket bats.

While Wadari succumbed to his injuries, the two others were badly injured.

According to a statement released by the Mumbai Police, the two accused have been arrested and a case of murder and attempt to murder has been lodged against them.
