One student out of 7 died after getting stuck in snow at Uttarkashi

One out of seven students who were left stranded in the snow near Radi Top on Friday, died in the incident.

After the Dharasu-Uttarkashi road got blocked, these students tracked on a forest path where they got trapped in excessive snow in an isolated walking route, informed District Emergency Operation Centres (DEOC) Uttarkashi.

Subsequently, they were brought to a Barkot hospital by the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) who rescued them.
