An irate Oprah Winfrey told Lindsay Lohan to "cut the bull****" during the chaotic filming of her new reality TV show.

The first trailer for Lohan's docu-series, Lindsay, gives a glimpse into the never-ending chaos surrounding the troubled actor.

The show follows Lohan fresh out of rehab, as she moves to New York with a sober coach and attempts to reconnect with her family and jumpstart her career, News.com.au reported.

However, her new start quickly spirals into chaos and frustration on the part of producers, the trailer reveals.

Lohan cancels shoots, gets herself locked out of the apartment, storming out in tears and generally throwing the show into chaos. Even her sober coach is lost for words when asked if she is staying off booze.

The erratic behaviour leads to some tough love from Winfrey.

Winfrey then lays down the law, telling Lohan that if she's not really interested in changing, they can cancel the show right then and there.

In behind-the-scenes footage, Lohan admits she is struggling to change her image of "chaos", and knows she is blowing her last chance to redeem her career.

True to her word, Lohan is then shown having tearful fights with handlers, storming out of rooms, getting herself locked out of her apartment and throwing the entire show's schedule into chaos. Even her sober coach is lost for words when asked if she's still sober.
