Lupita Nyong'o has become the newest ambassador of French cosmetic brand Lancome.
The 31-year-old actress, who had won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for '12 Years a Slave', has joined the likes of Kate Winslet and Julia Roberts with her new role, the New York Daily News reported.
The budding fashionista said in a statement that she is truly honored and proud to represent the fashion brand's unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated.
Beauty should instead be an expression of a woman's freedom to be herself, she added.
