Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture and Tourism Mahesh Sharma on Saturday alleged that AIMIM chief Asauddin Owaisi went to Dadri to do politics over the Dadri lynching case.
"I want to ask why Owaisi went there. To say that there is conspiracy? What did he want to do by saying this? Those who are saying that it was conspiracy do not think well for the society," Sharma told the media here.
"I stand by my comment. I had gone there yesterday and met his mother and the villagers. All the villagers condemned the incident," he added.
Sharma further said, "Owaisi or whoever wants to do politics, can say it was a well planned conspiracy. The police should probe it and punish the accused. I believe it is a disgusting incidence which should not have taken place."
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today met the victim's kin and also other inhabitants of Dadri.
