All-rounder Shane Watson has been reportedly dropped from the Australian squad for the second Ashes Test at Lord's, following his poor show at Cardiff.
Media reports have speculated that Mitchell Marsh has been preferred over the 34-year old, a move which could be seen as a signal to end Watson's 59-match Test career.
Earlier, head coach Darren Lehmann had also hinted that changes might take place in their line-up following their 169-run defeat at the hands of the hosts, The Guardian reported.
Marsh had already been in the contention for a spot in the first 11 after his eye-catching centuries in the warm-up games against Kent and Essex.
Watson was preferred for the first Test, but Lehmann had admitted that he was 'very close' to losing his place in the squad.
