Mesut Ozil scored a sensational second-half hat-trick as Arsenal surged to a comfortable 6-0 win over Ludogorets in their Champions League clash at Emirates Stadium on Thursday.
Arsenal remained in possession throughout the match, with two of their six goals coming in the first-half itself.
Forward Alexis Sanchez's marvellous lob opened Arsenal's account in the 12th minute before Theo Walcott doubled his side's lead just three minutes prior to the half-time, reported goal.com.
Winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain then pulled one back for Arsenal in the 46th minute before Ozil scored the first hat-trick of his career by netting goals in the 56th, 83rd and 87th minute.
Having drawn with Paris Saint-Germain and beaten by Basel, the Arsene Wenger-led side have finally retained top spot in Group A.
In another group clash, Atletico Madrid edged past FC Rostov 1-0 in Russia while Benfica clinched a 2-0 win over Dynamo Kyiv.
