Pakistan Prime Minsiter Nawaz Sharif leaves for his three day official visit for United States.
With the new development in the political scenario, to-be appointed NSA chief Lieutenant General Naseer Khan Janjua will be included in Sharif's entourage.
According to The Express Tribune, Pakistan Army Chief General Raheel Sharif has been pushing General Janjua name for past few months as he felt that Aziz had too much on his plate as he also held the portfolio for Foreign Affairs.
In his pre-departure statement, Sharif said that the bilateral ties between the two nations are advancing on 'an upward trajectory,' the national daily reported.
Pakistan wants to expand the scope of US-Pakistan Strategic Dialogue Framework in different areas and is committed towards its role as front line state in the war on terror, he added.
Stating their military operation Zarb-e-Azb, Sharif stated that its success shows the zeal of the government to eliminate insurgents and terrorists from every corner of the country.
