Day after reports claimed that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) chief Mullah Fazlullah was among those killed in air raids in parts of Khyber Agency's Tirah Valley, Pakistani Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali has said that the government has no knowledge of his death.
While speaking to the press in Islamabad, he said that there was no confirmation on Fazlullah's death, reported The Express Tribune.
Earlier, the militant group also dismissed reports that claimed that their leader had been killed.
The offensive was launched on Sunday and killed at least 20 militants while injuring eight others.
Ground troops and helicopter gunships targeted several areas of the valley, including Maza Tal, Sookh, Khyber Sanger and Sandan.
Several militant hideouts were also destroyed, sources said.
