Pakistan has managed to take back the lead despite losing three early second-innings wickets on the third day of the first Test against Zimbabwe at Harare with a fight-back led by veteran cricketer Younis Khan, who remained unbeaten on 76.

According to Sport24, Khan and captain Misbah-ul Haq ground out a fourth-wicket stand of 116, leading their side to take a lead of 90 runs by being at 168 for four at the close.

The report said that Khan, who faced 174 balls by the close and hit seven fours, and right-handed batsman Asad Shafiq, not out at 15, saw out the day and will resume on Friday, with a new ball due after ten more overs.

The duo will reportedly aim to take Pakistan to a total which will give off-spinner Saeed Ajmal a chance of bowling Zimbabwe out after he took seven for 95 in Zimbabwe's first innings of 327, although the hosts added 46 runs to their overnight 281 for seven.
