Pakistani border troops have reportedly violated the ceasefire in Mandi and Saujian sectors of Jammu and Kashmir.
Indian troops have retaliated to this unprovoked firing that began at midnight and lasted till 3 a.m. this morning.
According to latest reports firing from across the border has resumed again from 7.30 a.m.
Reports said that 82 mm mortars were used by Pakistani troops.
On Friday, Pakistan indulged in unprovoked firing in the Hamirpur area of the Balakote sector in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch District.
On Tuesday, Pakistani troops resorted to small arms firing on forward posts along the LoC in Rajouri and Poonch districts.
