Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain has said that his country wants to settle all disputes with India, including the issue of Kashmir, through dialogue.
According to the Express Tribune, President Hussain said that they hope that every coming day will bring a better future.
The President also recalled the sacrifices of their forefathers as he hoisted the flag on Pakistan's 69th Independence Day at Convention Centre in Islamabad.
President Hussain urged Pakistanis to follow in the footsteps of the nation's forefathers and work together for the betterment of the country.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also congratulated the country on its 69th Independence Day and called for unity to achieve the objective behind the creation of Pakistan.
