The interim cabinet of Pakistan's Sindh province is likely to take oath on Tuesday in Karachi.
About 18 ministers and five advisers will be inducted in the cabinet, the Express Tribune reported, citing sources, as saying.
According to the report, ministerial portfolios, among others, will be given to Shahadat Awan, former prosecutor-general, Ahmed Shah, president of the Arts Council of Pakistan, Justice (retd) Ghulam Sarwar, former bureaucrat Ashfaq Memon who has served as a provincial and federal secretary, Hamir Soomro, the grandson of former Sindh chief minister Allah Bux Soomro, Jabbar Memon, a businessman who has served as the vice-chairperson of Pakistan Steel Mill, Muffasar Atta Malik, president of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industries, former commissioner Saleem Khan, Fahad Bachani, son of PPP MNA Sattar Bachani.
On a related note, earlier in the day, a six-member interim cabinet, led by Pakistan's caretaker prime minister Justice (retired) Nasir-ul-Mulk, took oath at the President's House in Islamabad.
Also, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) named Justice (retired) Dost Mohammad Khan as the caretaker chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) province.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government completed its five-year constitutional term on May 31.
Meanwhile, a parliamentary committee meeting for Balochistan caretaker Chief Minister is likely to be called today, while parliamentary committee for Punjab caretaker Chief Minister will most probably be called on Wednesday.
