Slamming Pakistan for violating ceasefire, Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh on Tuesday advised the hostile neighbour to keep a check on its activities as it might fall in its own trap.

Singh said Pakistan is using terrorism to weaken India, but is not aware of the fact that New Delhi has the potential to deal with such tactics of Islamabad.

"Attacks like these are frequent from Pakistan. They always try to disrupt peace in Jammu and Kashmir and it is their desperate attempt. They have always been defeated and this time also they will be defeated, and they are using terrorism as an instrument to weaken us that will never happen," said Singh.

"They need to think and need to save their existence as this terrorism will first eat and end Pakistan. India has that much potential to deal with acts like these," he added.

A day before Independence Day ceasefire in LoC was violated with Pakistan firing at two places in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
