Two Pakistani juveniles, suspected of aiding the Uri attack, were repatriated by India following the completion of investigation and the confirmation of their nationality.
Identified as Faisal Hussain Awan and Ahsan Khurshid Chaudhry, they were repatriated via Attari/Wagah, according to a Ministry of External Affairs statement.
"The Government of India attaches highest importance to addressing all humanitarian matters, including early release and repatriation of all eligible Indian prisoners and fishermen," the statement added.
According to media reports, the two were initially said to be involved in guiding terrorists to an Indian army camp in Uri last year.
