New Delhi [India], Mar 27 (ANI): CEO Panasonic-India and South Asia Manish Sharma on Monday said that the company's mandate for the next three years is to achieve 35 percent growth year on year, which is very much in line with the targets of the next year.
The Japanese multinational on Monday launched two new Eluga
smartphones in India, the Eluga Ray Max and Eluga Ray X, which features the company's new Arbo virtual assistant that will enable easy machine learning to provide intelligent usage suggestions to users.
The smartphones will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
According to Panasonic, its Arbo virtual assistant uses machine learning to provide intelligent usage suggestions to users.
It learns the user's behaviour, alongside time and location, to provide
profile-based suggestions like prompting settings changes and highlighting commonly used apps.
"#Arboishere is a milestone that we have achieved to make the life of consumers more easy and convenient. Fundamentally this is an application based on machine learning that will help understanding the consumer's behaviour and day to day activities, and in this process it not only learns but also sends notifications. So, Arbo is a virtual assistant for people who use Panasonic smartphones," said CEO Panasonic-India and South Asia, Manish Sharma in an interview to ANI.
"While we move forward, we intend at technology that is more speedy and convenient. We have to see our capabilities to serve our customers with a cloud based application," Sharma said on being asked upon whether Panasonic will launch its cloud in the near future.
"We are working in line with both Digital India and Make in India. Panasonic is proud to announce the laying foundation of the refrigerators factory in Haryana tomorrow. Also we are working in line with the Digital India program. Recently we supplied the UP Police specialized tough pads, which are the ruggedized tablets used for easy functioning," he added.
