Parenting continues even after child turns 20

A new study has revealed that responsible parenting continues well into children's early adulthood, i.e their 20s.

The pictures of young brains obtained from magnetic resonance imaging for tracking brain growth showed are transforming thinking about adolescence, parenting and the right social settings for creating highly capable adults, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Ian Hickie from University of Sydney's brain and mind research institute said that brain maturation is a very complicated, complex and dynamic process that goes through adolescence from puberty right through to the early 20s.
