Parijat Industries conferred with Greentech Environment Award 2018

Parijat Industries (India) Pvt Ltd, an Indian agrochemical company, was conferred with the Greentech Environment award (Gold trophy) from Greentech Foundation for maintaining healthy and safe environmental standards.

Parijat Industries has received this recognition for the second consecutive year for its implementation of effective environmental practices at its manufacturing plant.

The award was presented by Topon Kr. Gogoi, Minister of Power, (Independent Charges) Government of Assam, at a function, organised in Guwahati.

"As an ethical organisation, we take pride and ownership in deploying sustainable business practices and every employee is encouraged to develop a sense of responsibility in the area of good environmental practices. The award is a recognition of our robust commitment and effort in building a safe, responsible and environmentally responsible organisation. This award encourages us and brings us closer to achieve our endeavour of working towards becoming India's leading and most admired agrochemical company," said Vikram Anand, Director at Parijat.

Greentech safety awards have been presented to companies/units demonstrating the highest level of commitment to environmental management covering all sectors of industry and services sector who demonstrate the highest level of commitment and best practices. The awards aim to recognise exemplary operations, systems and the evidence of their impact on business vitality.

Greentech Foundation awards serve as a catalyst to understanding the intrinsic value of environmental management in business excellence and sustainability.

On a related note, Parijat Industries is an agro-chemical manufacturing company with its plants in Ambala, Haryana and with a presence in India over 16 Indian states, and exports spanning over 70 countries worldwide.
