Pentagon has recently announced that Santa Claus can safely fly over American airspace to give out gifts to kids this holiday season.
Pentagon press secretary Rear, Adm. John Kirby, stated that North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) guarantees Santa's safe and sound sleigh traverse to the skies as he pleases while delivering presents, the Washington Times reported.
In the air domain, the Canadian NORAD Region and Continental NORAD Region would be ready to escort Santa when he enters U.S. and Canadian airspace and through their coordination with the FAA and NAV-CANADA, they confirmed that North American airspace was safe for sleigh travel, he further added.
Aegis radars would be tracking Santa and even ships are made available to conduct any lost-gift rescue operations.
