Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Tariq Anwar on Monday said the people have lot of expectations from the Union Budget and are hoping that it brings 'acche din' for them as promised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during the Lok Sabha elections last year.
"Even we are hoping that it will be a better one, last time Arun Jaitleyji and the Prime Minister had said that they did not get enough time to prepare the budget," Anwar told ANI here.
"Now, they have nine months of experience. The people have lot of expectations from the budget. Now, the middle class, the lower class, social sector are hoping that the budget will bring 'acche din' for them as promised by the government," he added.
