Live video streaming app Periscope has released an update to its iOS app that allows the users to control which users they receive notifications from and uses iOS' Handoff so they can start watching a stream on one device and seamlessly transition to a different one later.
According to The Next Web, A new mute feature allows the users to mute users from sending them a push notification every time they go live. The broadcasts still appear in their feed but they will not be notified about the livestream.
Also, the users can now a different language for Periscope. For that the users can have to select which languages appear in their global list in profile settings.
The updated app also now shows the users viewer statistics for their past broadcasts.
Handoff feature allows the users to transition watching a broadcast from one device to another.
