Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday targetted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not fulfilling promises made to the electorates ahead of 2014 general elections, saying that the latter only believes in giving speeches and will never do justice to the people of Bihar.

"He(PM Modi) will not do anything but will only speak. He only speaks sometimes in the country, while sometimes in the foreign land. Prime Minister Modi is now in United States. You will see that whatever he speaks in US, he will play the same tape recorder in the entire country," Kumar said while addressing a public meeting here.

"Now, people want to ask him, whether he(PM Modi) will be doing any work or only speak. I want to warn you what all things he can do. He will never do justice to this country and will never fulfil the promises made to the electorates. I am regularly saying that today, the people ruling at the Centre have no ancestors, who were part of the freedom struggle and never contributed to the freedom of this nation," Kumar added.

Lashing out at Prime Minister Modi for not fulfilling promises made to people, Kumar said: "PM Modi had promised to bring back the black money stashed abroad. He even promised that every poor will get Rs10 to 15 lakhs. I have made people listen to the recorded tape of his promises in Bihar. But did anything happen? Even the then BJP president and now the Home minister Rajnath Singh had promised of bringing black money stashed abroad in 100 days, but they never fulfilled any promises made. He even promised to provide employment to millions but did it ever happen?"

On RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat calling economic package a "political tool" that leads to "blackmailing", he said: "BJP is based on the principles of RSS. And now when the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that these packages are not good, then you can imagine how BJP is bluffing people in order to get votes."

In August this year Prime Minister Modi had announced a package of Rs 1.25 lakh crore for Bihar, promising a host of schemes that will receive the Centre's funding.
