Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Brazil's President Dilma Rousseff at a BRICS private working session today.
Earlier today, Modi met Chienese president Xi Jinping at the Grand Marquise Hotel in Fortaleza.
This was the first face-to-face bilateral meeting between the two leaders after the recent change in Government in New Delhi.
He spoke at the meeting in Hindi which was translated in Chinese.
Modi arrived in Brazil to attend the five-nation BRICS summit to be held on July 15. He was received by Brazilian Foreign Ministry Louise Lopes and India's Ambassador to Brazil Ashok Tomar.
The two- day summit will be held in Brazilian cities of Fortaleza and Brasilia.
