Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) general secretary Tariq Anwar has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Japan, saying such visits abroad can bring in more investments for the country.
Anwar told ANI, "It is good if the Prime Minister is on a visit to Japan and visits other countries, where he can discuss how best to take the development process of India forward with the Prime Ministers' of such countries. It will be good if more investment and agreements are brought by him for the benefit of our country."
"There is no politics in it. In fact, all political parties of the nation are in favour of the foreign policy," he added.
Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi is currently on a five-day bilateral visit of Japan. He is being accompanied by a high-level delegation, including National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh.
