Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday visited the Army's Badami Bagh cantonment to pay his tribute to the security personnel killed in the deadly militant attack in Uri last Friday.
He laid a wreath and observed silence in memory of the martyred soldiers.
Last Friday's militant attack left eleven security force personnel getting martyred, while all the six militants involved in the attack were also killed.
Prime Minister Modi addressed an election rally in the Kashmir Valley at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium. Besides, he also addressed another one in Samba earlier in the day.
