Police engage in gun battle with suspected militants in Chittoor

Police are reportedly battling suspected militants in a gun battle in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor district.

Media reports said that around 30 policemen have surrounded the militants who are also suspected of killing BJP leader V. Ramesh in July.

Police from Tamil Nadu state is also assisting in the operation.
