An unusual police report was filed against Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on grounds of instigating hatred amongst civilians against the Pakistan army.
The report was lodged by Advocate Ishtiaq Ahmed Mirza, chairman of the I.M. Pakistan Party, who reported that he received a WhatsApp clip at 12.47pm which showed a man making hate speech against the armed forces, reports Dawn.
He further asserted it was visible that the man delivering the speech was Nawaz Sharif himself.
The case was not lodged as a First Information Report but rather in the police diary, known in local parlance as 'roznamcha'. Following the complaint, the Civil Lines police registered a report.
